Allow me to help you get to know me a bit better! I am originally from the Saginaw, MI area. Most of my adult life, I lived and practiced in Muskegon, MI. My family and I relocated to the Pine River area in 2017 to our family cabin that we built over two decades ago. It's a place we've treasured for years with hopes to retire to and we were lucky enough to relocate there earlier than expected! This led me to relocate my counseling practice to Big Rapids, which has been wonderful!
I have a wonderful partner to whom I've been married to for many years. His name is Will and he is my Business Manager. He has been the man behind the scenes at my office for my entire career in private practice. You may talk with him on the phone at times or see him if he's at the office. He takes care of all the administrative and billing duties. I'm thankful he takes care of those matters and much, much more in life! :) I have two fantastic daughters who fill my life with joy and laughter each day. My two labs are full of mischief and lots of love. Their names are Gunner and Olive. I have one cat, Star, who is the elder of our fur family but the most active! She's quite the hunter! There are always animals stories for me to share!
I love, love, love the outdoors! I can talk a lot about hiking, backpacking, camping and many trips I've enjoyed! I am an avid gardener and was blessed with a sweet "she shed"/greenhouse my husband built for me. I love to kayak and take my dog, Olive, with me in my boat. She loves to snuggle any time she can!
